Reports to: Property Manager

Work location: Highlands at Aero Park, Menomonee Falls, WI: On-site

Hours: Regular Full-time, 40 hours per week / Varies

United Financial Group, Inc. is growing, and we’re in search of a Menomonee Falls area-based Leasing Specialist to join our team for one of our newest communities currently in lease-up, Highlands at Aero Park (55+)!

Our Leasing Specialists are tasked with providing a range of social, administrative, and leasing orientated tasks to achieve occupancy and resident retention goals. The Leasing Specialist will achieve these goals by leasing apartments and townhomes to new residents, building a sense of community through coordinating and hosting on-site resident & prospective resident events, providing stellar customer service to our existing residents to ensure renewal, and ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the duration of the lease.

Essential Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)

  • · Provides internal, cross functional administrative support
  • · Inspects apartments and townhomes prior to move-in to ensure ready conditions
  • · Stays up to date on competition, and competitor performance
  • · Uses property management software (Yardi) to track availability, record activity

related to leasing, showings, contacts

  • · Responds quickly with stellar customer service to prospective residents, and

existing residents alike

  • · Follow-up with existing residents to ensure satisfaction, and with prospective

residents until a decision has been made to lease

  • · Ensures the community is “show ready” daily by inspecting grounds, vacant units, tour paths, and amenity areas
  • · Enters service requests, assists with portal setup, or other resident concerns as

necessary

  • · Assists the marketing department in driving qualified traffic to the community
  • · Conducts tours of the community, greets, and qualifies prospective residents in

accordance with Fair Housing regulation

  • · Processes credit and criminal background checks, prepares the lease documents

and move in packets, completes move in and lease signing appointments with new residents and ensures an exceptional move in experience

  • · Assist in preparing weekly, bi-weekly, monthly reporting related to traffic, leasing

activities, and closing

  • · Manage day-to-day office duties/be present on-site to ensure accessibility during

office hours

  • · Participates in marketing outreach activities, hosts trade show tables, or

networking events where applicable

  • · Completes monthly, daily, weekly website and ILS audits for the community to

ensure stellar digital curb appeal

Skills & Qualifications:

  • · A valid driver’s license, required
  • · Proficient in Microsoft programs suite, and general computer use
  • · Experience with Yardi a plus, but not required
  • · Understanding of vacancy procedure, preferred

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this role, the team member is regularly required to read, talk, type, and listen. Our Leasing Specialists work predominantly in a temperature-controlled office environment. Though the team member will frequently be required to sit, the team member is regularly required to use stairs, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with arms. Team members must occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
